We are going to read Revelation 21 and 22, at least some select passages from those two chapters.! In Revelation 20, what just has happened is the earth and the sky have fled from his presence.
And then now death and Hades have been thrown into the lake of fire. The old order has passed away. And now something new is about to happen.
Revelation chapter 21. We'll read verses 1 through 8, and then we're going to skip down to verses 22. You'll follow along. Revelation 21, 1 through 8.
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.
He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
He who was seated on the throne said, I am making everything new. Then he said, Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true. He said to me, It is done.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To him who is thirsty, I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life.
He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God, and he will be my son. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters, and all liars, their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
This is the second death. Verse 22. I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it.
On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it.
Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb, down the middle of the great street of the city.
On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and His servants will serve Him. They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.
There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light, and they will reign forever and ever.
The angel said to me, these words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show His servants the things that must soon take place.
We are making our way to the end of our present study of the offices of Christ, the jobs that the Lord Jesus has been given as the one mediator between God and man.
We've seen Him as our prophet who teaches us the will of God, and we need Him because we're ignorant. And we've seen Him as our priest who died for our sins and pleads with God for us, and how we need Him because without Him we are guilty.
And we need Him as our King to rule over us and to defend us, and how we need Him because we're weak and helpless. And so we've been studying and looking at what Scripture says about the Lord Jesus as our King.
And looking at the King, we have come to appreciate more about His kingdom. Now the Lord Jesus is God's anointed King. And God's kingdom is simply God's rule recognized in the hearts of God's people by their faith and obedience in Jesus Christ.
Wherever Jesus Christ is trusted and obeyed, there you have the kingdom of God on earth. And it's not like the kingdoms of this world.
For the kingdom of God is within you, Jesus said. Now there is both a present and a future tense to God's kingdom. The long prophesied kingdom of God has already come in the first coming of the King.
Jesus Christ came, and He came preaching the gospel of the kingdom. The time has come, He said. The kingdom of God is at hand.
Repent and believe the good news. And so whenever boys and girls, moms and dads are born again, repent and trust in the Lord Jesus, they enter the kingdom of God.
It's a present reality. It's already here. But the Bible also teaches us that there is a future tense to God's kingdom. Indeed, our king himself teaches his citizens to pray, your kingdom come.
Your kingdom come. Showing that though it has come, there is yet more to come. And that more to come is nothing less than God's will being done on earth as it is in heaven.
Now children, how is God's will being done in heaven today? Well, the Bible tells us it's done perfectly without any sin.
When God says to an angel, go on my errand, does he say, do I have to? Does he complain? Is he slow to obey?
Does he do it half-heartedly? No, he does it right away. He does it all and he does it with a right heart attitude of being glad to serve the king. That's how God's will is being done in heaven.
Can I ask you, is that how God's will is being done on earth? No. No, not at all. The planet is in rebellion against God.
There's a universal conspiracy to cast off his laws from us and to go our own way. The world refuses to submit to God's laws and even the obedience of God's people is still marred by many imperfections in our motives and in our performance.
And so, we are still longing and praying, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. And that's what will happen when Jesus Christ returns when he comes the second time.
The kingdom that he established at his first coming will be perfected at his second coming. And then you will not find a place on all of God's earth where his will is not being done as it is in heaven.
I ask you, is that not something to look forward to? Pastor Jason is right. The future belongs to Christ and to his people. Yes, our Christian life and it is something to look forward to and our Christian life either suffers or thrives in large measure as we forget or remember this future kingdom at Christ's coming.
So, this morning we're going to lift up our eyes from what we see here and now in the world and we're going to fix them upon what it will be like when Jesus returns to perfect his kingdom.
Now, our king has some unfinished business to tend to. I wonder how you are with unfinished business. Do you have any unfinished projects at home? Things you've started but not finished.
Our king finishes everything he begins. The good work he's begun in many of you he will complete until the day of Christ Jesus. and he has begun a kingdom that he intends to continue and to complete.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and it was a heaven and an earth without sin and without sadness. It was life under God's rule and blessing and so everything in the kingdom of God was very, very good.
But then Satan fell along with other angels with him. And through his temptation of our first parents he brought sin and rebellion into this world and death by sin.
And so God's perfect kingdom was now ruined. This world is now in rebellion against God and his laws. It sits in the lap of the devil John tells us.
But the Lord is not about to abandon the works of his hands. God in mercy had planned from the beginning to restore order to his fallen universe to save his kingdom from its rebellion and God's own son is his appointed king sent on this business.
The government will be on his shoulders and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hands. He will accomplish this work. And so he came from heaven and he came to bring heaven to earth whereas the devil had sought to bring hell to this world.
Everywhere you see sin and suffering in the world and we don't have to look far do we? You are seeing the work of the devil the destroyer. But the reason the son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work 1 John 3.8 He came to establish once again the kingdom of God on earth with a people who do his will and therefore enjoy the blessedness of life and fellowship with God.
And though he has begun this kingdom of God on earth by saving a people for himself he's not completed this kingdom of God. Not yet.
We've been saved from the penalty of sin through Christ's death. We've been saved from the reigning power of sin but we are yet to be saved from the very presence of sin.
He's not done saving his people bringing in this eternal kingdom for all his and our enemies are to be put under his feet and removed altogether from his kingdom on earth.
In man's environment the very creation itself is to be changed and saved from the curse of sin. It's to be made a new heaven and a new earth the home of righteousness.
I want to give you three texts that affirm this glorious future for this planet for the universe the cosmos the creation that God has created. First in Acts chapter 3 in verse 21 Peter is speaking of Jesus and he says that he must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.
He's going to stay in heaven until it's the time that God has set to restore everything. Now when you restore a house or an old car or an antique piece of furniture what do you do?
you take it back to its original condition. You restore it. And even so a time is coming when God will restore everything.
He will take this entire created order back to its original condition of very good. There's a lot that's still very bad and that simply reminds us that he hasn't finished the work that he's begun.
He's coming to restore everything. The creation the created order as well. Matthew 19 28 Jesus said to them I tell you the truth at the renewal of all things when the son of man sits on his glorious throne you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel at the renewal of all things.
All things restored all things renewed the word is the word that sometimes translated regeneration Titus 3 and verse 5 you can see where this word is used of the sinner who experiences a regeneration a renewal a new birth and just as sinners must be born again in order to enter the kingdom of God so this creation itself must undergo and will undergo a regeneration a new birth before that eternal age restoration renewal and thirdly Romans 8 19 through 21 Paul tells of the creation's liberation the creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed for the creation was subjected to frustration not by its own choice but by the will of the one who subjected it in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God we find in the
Bible there is a close link between man and his environment and when man rebelled against God not only he but his environment was cursed along with him the very ground was cursed creation itself was subjected to frustration and to the put in bondage to decay change and decay and all around I see that's what the curse brought to man's environment but when through the saving work of Jesus Christ man is set free from sin then his environment also is to share in that redemption it too is to be restored renewed and liberated so that there will be perfect harmony again between man and his environment now this cosmic change will not come about by a slow evolutionary process by eons and eons of ages by educational programs or legislative or government programs not by any of man's gradual improvement of himself and his society and his environment that's not how this great change will take place but rather it will be the sudden return to this world of our
Lord Jesus it will be by his catastrophic return in judgment for that day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire and the elements will melt and the heat and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare but in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heavens and a new earth the home of righteousness first second Peter three so Jesus came the first time to atone for sin he'll come the second time to remove all sin and its consequences both from his redeemed people and from their environment so the Lord the king is coming and when he comes he's going to judge all men and remember what he will say to those on his right at the final judgment come you who are blessed inherit you who are blessed by my father inherit the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world the king is going to give the kingdom to his blessed people inherit the kingdom indeed he's told us in
Matthew 5 that it's the meek his citizens who will inherit the earth he's going to give to his people the earth he's going to give them the kingdom but it will be an earth and a kingdom that is now perfected restored renewed liberated from sin and Satan and the curse so what will it be like that's the question we want to know isn't it what will it be like to step into that new heavens and new earth well there's going to be a freshness a newness about everything new heavens new earth new Jerusalem I make everything new he says and new isn't always better is it but this will be new and improved this will be better by far a newness that is better by far and best of all it will stay new it will stay new it will never perish spoil or fade like many things here never decay now
Christ has already begun this process of making new hasn't he for if any man be in Christ he is what a new creation the new creation has already begun he's begun it in the hearts of you who are his people he's given you a new birth and you have become a new creation and all things are passed away and behold all things have become new nothing's the same for a Christian the things that he experienced before it's all new because now he's in Christ and he's experiencing it all with Jesus with God for him he's already tasting of newness but this newness is imperfect yet these bodies grow old and die and many other things that show that the newness is not yet perfected but at Christ coming it will be completely perfected and that's what the apostle John saw in that revelatory vision in
Revelation 21 that was read that I saw this new heaven and this new earth for the first heavens and the first earth had passed away and there was no longer any sea and I saw the holy city the new Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband and there will be no more of this and no more of that and no more of the other for the old order of things has passed away and he who sits upon the throne will say I am making all things new where have we heard that before any man be in Christ he's a new creature old things have passed away all things become new that's begun right now in the hearts of God's people but it will be perfected in that day not only in the people but in their environment as everything will be made new and the old will pass away now that means that we will be with the
Lord with a new soul a new body in a new universe that will be full salvation that's what Jesus Christ came to do not just to save your soul from hell he came to save you your soul yes your body as well that's what you are you're a body soul creature he didn't come to save half of you he came to save all of you and he's going to save your environment as well so as you step into this whole new world of God's eternal kingdom you're going to be struck with what's not there what's not there there's no more hospitals doctors nurses treatment centers for cancer nursing homes dentists medical insurance premiums some of you are going to need new jobs aren't you and he'll take care of that because at his coming there will be no more sicknesses diseases dementia glasses contacts hearing aids artificial joints and legs for our lord will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body immortal not decaying once for all he will heal all of our diseases psalm 103 and there'll be no more pain no more back pain no more joint pain no more pain in the neck real or figurative no more headaches no more weariness no more dementia as we've said or other encroaching problems of old age no more tears you remember the selling jingle of
Johnson's baby shampoo no more tears that's exactly what it will be like in the perfected kingdom no more tears for he will wipe away every tear from our eyes that's your king worship him there will be no more mourning or crying or anything that causes crying no fears no sorrows no family problems no troubles of any kind that's all part of the old order that will be done away with completely there will be no more funerals and funeral homes cemeteries sympathy cards at drug stores or even drug stores for that matter no more life insurance no more death that's what Revelation 21 4 says it's all part of the old order the way it used to be for the last enemy to be destroyed by our king is death he will swallow up death forever at his coming no more curse there will no longer be any curse is what
Revelation 22 3 says not a trace of it oh how different that will be no more frustration built into the universe no more vanity of vanity no more bondage to decay no more bugs eating the plants in my garden no more earthquakes and tornadoes and tsunamis and hurricanes and floods and droughts and famines the whole creation is to share in the glorious liberty of the children of God God will redeem his people and their planet their world no more wars and armies and defense departments and manufacturing of weapons nor taxes to pay for them our king will do what the United Nations could only dream of doing come and see David says come and see the works of the Lord the desolations he has brought on the earth he makes wars cease to the ends of the earth he breaks the bow he shatters the spear he burns the shields with fire then they will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks nations will not take up sword against nation nor will they train for war anymore what do you think is this war weary world ready for the coming of our king he will make an end of war by making an end of sin and greed and hatred and prejudice and pride and all the things that cause war no more
ISIS no more terrorists no more keys or locks to carry around no more keys to carry in your pocket locks to put on your valuables no more security at airports no more police or thieves or murderers or prisons or prisoners no more bloodshed no more abortions none to harm or to destroy on all his holy mountain these are part of the former things that Isaiah 65 says will not be remembered nor will they come to mind no more bad news on the evening news only good news no more self-serving politicians no more corrupt judges lawyers and business men no more abuse or injustice no more devil and demons to tempt us he who is now like a prowling lion seeking whom he may devour he himself will be cast into the lake of fire to be tormented day and night forever and ever our king will completely destroy the works of the devil and the devil himself as he's cast into hell the destroyer destroyed and there'll be no more evil people to tempt us or persecute us to slander and insult us nothing unclean will ever enter into it nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful the wicked will be in hell where they can trouble us no more one of the sweetest things of the new heavens and the new earth is that there will be no more indwelling sin as I said
God Christ's blood has already saved us from sin's penalty and power reigning power but that blood will not lose its power till all the saints of God are saved to sin no more oh the blood of Jesus it washes just that clean there will be no more enemy within no more flesh indwelling sin that factory of sinful thoughts and motives and desires and words and actions what made the apostle Paul complain that when I want to do good I find evil is present with me so that what I actually do is not the good that I want to do rather I end up doing something less than that imperfections in all I do sin yet marring the best of my deeds because of sin that still lives within me indwelling sin one theologian said of this indwelling sin that it every day in a thousand ways puts me at the center of my universe that's what it does it turns us in on ourselves and we evaluate everything in the universe by what it means to me as C.S.
Lewis wrote I never had a selfless thought since I was born I'm mercenary and self seeking through and through I want God you all friends merely to serve my turn but when Jesus comes to complete his kingdom our battle of sin will be over just as much as our battle with the devil our sinful flesh is one of those enemies that our king will put under his foot and completely annihilate forever no more self preoccupation self seeking self glory self defense self will self indulgence self righteousness self love no more pride no more sinful anger no more bitterness no more greed no more laziness no more ingratitude and discontent no more coldness in worshiping God no more little love for the
God that loves us so much no more grieving of the spirit of God who dwells within us no more guilty conscience no more regrets no more sadness for sin no more confession of sin no more repenting of sin no more mortifying of sin all this is a part of the old order of things that has passed away and that's what our king is coming to accomplish to eradicate sin completely for when he appears we shall be like him for we will see him as he is and every wrinkle and every spot will be gone we will be sinlessly perfect that's the grace of God in Jesus Christ I was telling one of the young people here at church that this will be the funeral of our sins and he objected to that it won't be like a funeral because we won't be sad we'll be glad well then
I'll change it it'll be the happiest funeral of all glad that it's dead and gone glad that it's passed away glad to be rid of it no more sin and no more misunderstandings and disunity and strife 2 Peter 3 13 says we're looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth the home of righteousness now you think about that I don't know who lives at your home I know some of them but think of that home the home of righteousness a universe filled with only righteous people made perfectly righteous through and through not only their record in heaven but their heart on earth now completely righteous not one sinful thought desire word motive or deed all believers will then be completely glorified completely sanctified everyone will be as righteous as
Jesus Christ is have you thought about what a people that will be to live with to work with to worship with to serve God with to enjoy eternity with to live next to when we deserve to spend eternity with devils and wicked people a world of perfect love that singers of the world can only croon about no arguments no disagreements think of it everyone will agree with you or rather will it be that you will agree with everyone else probably better to say that we will all agree with God that's why there will be no disagreements it's a place where God's will is done on earth as it is in heaven and all of our differences back on earth will immediately be sorted out the first second that we're in heaven we won't remember what separated us on earth what was that thing that was so important between us that we couldn't face each other it's part of the former things that will not be remembered nor brought to mind
Isaiah 65 17 no more fears worries anxieties depressions stress alarm perfect peace as we sang now this final state of God's kingdom then is more often described in the Bible by negation than it is by positive statements in other words we're told more of what is not there than what we are of what is there there is none of these things that cause us to sigh and be sad here never again will they hunger never again will they thirst there will be no lack no curse no death no pain no crying so that's the negative that is often used to describe that perfected kingdom that we might appreciate it for what it is may I just encourage you that when you have that which causes you to cry and to sigh and to hurt to be discouraged and frustrated here to let it be a springboard to think about
Christ's coming and the kingdom as it will be in that day and rejoice in the Lord but if none of these things will be there then what will be there pure uninterrupted gladness and joy for then the eyes of the blind will be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped then will the lame leap like a deer and the mute tongue shout for joy the ransom of the Lord will enter Zion with singing everlasting joy will crown their heads gladness and joy will overtake them and sorrow and sighing will flee!
Forever gone all sadness gone only gladness! in God's kingdom and the heaven of heavens the joy of joys the delight of delights is that God will be there so yes you'll be stunned at all that's not there but the one thing that will stun you most is who is there the king in all his beauty without a veil is seen then it will be worth a well spent journey those seven deaths lay between some of you die seven deaths a day with your present circumstances and I consider that the glories to be revealed are not worth comparing to the afflictions and sorrows of this present age for now the dwelling of
God is with man and he will live with them and they will be his people and God himself will be with them and be their God the throne of God and the lamb will be in the city and his servants will serve him they will see his face and they will reign forever and ever brothers and sisters your eyes will see the king and his beauty you will see him!
raining! with such splendor and glory that will cause the sun to be embarrassed and the moon to blush Isaiah says forever we will be with the Lord and with our king in this new kingdom remember how he prayed on the night of his arrest father I want those you have given me to be with me where I am and to see my glory you will have that prayer answered you will be with him where he is and see his glory for the lamb is all the glory of Emmanuel's land as we sang he is the focus of all life there he's the center of unbroken praise he's the son of that new world and then we will fully rejoice in the Lord always for endless ages and our joy will know no interruption or end a completely restored people in a completely restored universe forever purged of sin and the curse what difference should it make believers live in the expectation of the coming king and his kingdom what difference should it make
Peter says he asked the question after he spoken of Christ return since everything will be destroyed in this way what kind of people ought we to be he's asking the application question if all this is coming what kind of people should we be well you ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and reminds them of the promised new heaven so then application dear friends since you are looking forward to this make every effort to be found spotless blameless and at peace with him make an end of all your controversies with heaven right now be ready to meet him with joy it is coming John says everyone that has this hope this confident expectation of what Jesus is bringing everyone who has this hope in him purifies!
himself even as pure oh there's so much to encourage us in the prospect of our coming king and thanks to your savior this is your future this is your future I will not gaze at glory but on my king of grace not at the crown he gifteth but on his pierced hand that's poetic way of saying in that day we will know as we have never known on earth but we are there because of the sufferings of our king because he drank the cup of wrath we will be drinking forever from the cup of salvation and blessing!
though how we will love him but you see you need to let something of that love and joy and happiness fall over into this life to live now in the expectation of that God will save the very presence of sin and sinners and neighbors and people remember the king is coming remember the kingdom when he comes he will again have compassion on us he will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea he will save his people from their sins!
the very presence of sin the God of peace will soon crush Satan's head under your feet you see if we don't live in the light of the eternal certain victory of our king we'll not do battle now as we ought we'll not persevere with confident hope and expectation we'll not rejoice in the hope of his coming so encourage yourselves and encourage each other with these words our king is coming and he will perfect the kingdom and then secondly pray because our king teaches us to pray your kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven that's how we wait we wait praying for that kingdom and for his will to be done now first of all in my heart like it's done in heaven right now start in me that
I would obey you as the angels above that all of your will will be done here by me all of the time with all of my heart and then do it in all of your people and in more and more people that you are saving around the world until you return and this whole world of believers will be righteous perfect doing your will as it is done in heaven and so we pray your kingdom come finish then your new creation you started it Lord Christ finish then your new creation pure and spotless let us be let us see thy great salvation perfectly restored in thee change from glory into glory till in heaven we take our place till we cast our crowns before thee lost in wonder love and praise live holy and godly lives pray for his kingdom to come and seek first the kingdom of
God and his righteousness more on that another time if you're lost you will not enter the kingdom without Jesus Christ I'm convinced that Satan works overtime to keep you from thinking about what is happening when Jesus comes it's not an imaginary world you will be as conscious every day of eternity as you are now and you will feel and you will think and you will live then as you do now but you will not be able to die the king of kings is coming back to judge the world in righteousness do you know that the gate is open do you know his arms are open open all day long to stubborn recalcitrant people if you'll have him as your prophet to teach you how to live and what to believe if you'll have him as your priest to die for your sins and to pray to
God for you and if you'll have him as your king to rule over you and to defend you he says I'm yours take me take me come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden I will give you rest come and trust in his blood and righteousness you see our king is coming to finish what he began he didn't undertake this restoration in his first coming just to forget about it and leave it half baked half finished he's coming back to complete it the will of the Lord will prosper in his hands he his zeal will accomplish all that the father has given him to do every last enemy put under his feet every last remnant of sin in the Louvre in France destroys one of the masterpiece paintings and takes spray paint and puts graffiti and obscenities all over it and cuts it up with knives douses it with gasoline lights it on fire and it's half burnt before the sprinkler system puts it out total ruin specialists from all over the world are flown in but no one can restore it to its original splendor creation is
God's masterpiece very good with man his highest creature and Satan entered into this world and destroyed God's masterpiece and he does not sit back and say oh well he says I'm going to establish my kingdom there and he sent his son and he's going to do it in two comings two phases and he came the first time and he died for sin and he sent his Holy Spirit to regenerate and bring sinners to faith in Jesus but he's coming a second time to finish what man could not fix and so he waits he waits to see to have presidents and kings and united nations fail and fail and education and government programs fail and courts and laws and prisons to fail and doctors and surgeons and medical clinics to fail because they're all only able to treat the symptoms what has ruined this world is sin and only
Jesus can deal with sin and so one day the father will say to his son at his right hand it's time son go finish the job and the heavens will open and our king will appear in power and great glory with all of his angels with him and all who have died in Christ before gone to be with him they'll be riding with him and then his angels will gather up all those still living on the earth from east and west and north and south up to be with him and once they are safely with him as he's coming then he will judge the world in fire and punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel and then he will call forth all men to the final judgment and assign them to eternal hell or heaven and then he will welcome those who have trusted in him into his eternal kingdom forever a new heavens a new earth the home of righteousness it's coming believers let the joy of that day spill over into today what glory will come to Christ in that day for perfectly restoring with Satan and sin and destroyed and what no man or group of men could ever fix his victory will shine out against their failures and then the kingdom of the world will become the kingdom of our Lord and of his
Christ and he will reign forever and ever and blessings abound wherever he reigns and then the entire church of all times of all ages from all nations and tribes and languages will be together at last and together we will crown him Lord of Lords King of Kings the song has already begun and we will sing it sinlessly and gloriously then let's take our hymnal and crown him King even now with our song number 218 stand with me and let's sing 218 the third tune crown him Lord of Lords let's pray father for the gift of your son receive this song of praise
Lord Jesus for coming and becoming man for us becoming sin for us and becoming a curse for us to make this become our future receive our song of praise Holy Spirit for bringing the gospel to our hearts and showing us that we were the sinner that needed Jesus to save us thank you and receive all glory and praise and so help us who know you to go from this place rejoicing in the hope of glory Christ in us this hope of glory setting our hearts on the grace to be brought to us when Jesus Christ is revealed teach us to pray your kingdom come and teach us to seek your kingdom and righteousness first and for those who are outside cause them to enter today through the narrow door who is our savior
Jesus Christ give you thanks in Jesus name amen amen amen amen Amen.
